"May my love for the church not impede my criticism of religion. May my criticism of religion not overshadow my love for the church." Rabbi David Foreman
Who Me?
- MWF:Looking for Wisdom
- I am a Christian wife who wants to see church leaders STOP being religious and start being faith filled -putting Jesus first. I study the Bible and the more I observe Christian leadership behavior, the more I gasp at the degrees of unbelief running the local church. I am on a path to press into knowing the the value of belonging to a church body. Because we do need it, Christians…we need each other. I am a church leader. I get it - how hard and unappreciated it is. I get that we are all well-intentioned…trying our best. But we need to try God's best and practice what Jesus taught. We are called to purge sin from the church - so let's do it and do it biblically, with compassion and forgiveness. I have contacted the Yreka newspaper, and 2 Christian churches in Yreka, CA with the hopes that somebody will go find Frank and give him some food or money. We like to say we have a heart for the homeless, but do we really? Will we really try to help out a homeless person being presented to us on a platter? Or do we still like the safety on not knowing them personally, seeing them sitting on the side of the road with a sign? Is it going too outside of one's comfort zone to be presented with a homeless person electronically? If you can read this - you are being presented with the opportunity to help someone...will you? Check out Frank, 52, in Yreka, CA :
